As with any new program, you as the teacher have to teach your students how to use the program. However, when it is being introduced to a kindergarten class it takes up a lot of time! I am still in the phase of introducing Infuse Learning and Reflex Math to my class. I have a handful of students who are picking up on the technology and are able to work it on their own. However, the majority of my class still needs help simply working the computer. I have had my class do weekly comprehension quizzes on Infuse Learning to gain experience with logging in and working the computer. I think with more and more practice they will gain a better understanding. I plan on implementing 2 quizzes a week to give them extra computer practice. Reflex Math is a diferent story! Since my students are still learning their Math Facts and how to work a computer their scores haven't been where I would like them to be. I noticed that the struggle of working the computer is affecting their gaming scores for the facts. Thus, even if a student knows their math facts it is not represented accurately in the game score. Again, with more practice and more opportunities to play I believe this issue will be eliminated and Reflex Math will ultimately benefit my students in learning their math facts.

I completely understand the data you're getting. However, one of the goals of this project is to get the students used to using technology. I think it will take some time to get this accomplished, but I think the rewards will be worth the time and patience. The fact that you are trying to get Kindergartners ready to use technology will help tremendously when it comes to online testing.
