My name is Kayla Schroeder, and I am currently a full time student at USI working on my Master's in Secondary Education. I hope to find a teaching position in either Social Studies/History or Language Arts at either the middle school or high school level. I previously taught high school English at my hometown school. I was lucky to have the opportunity to have a wealth of technology to use at my fingertips. In my room, I had a desktop computer, Smartboard/projector, an IPad 2, and an IPad mini. Also, the high school Seniors had their own IPads to use in their classes. For my other classes, I was able to check out either am traveling iPad cart or traveling computer cart. This, along with the computer lab, came in very handy when working on class projects. As teachers, we were encouraged to incorporate the use of the iPads as much as possible in our classes.
