My name is Ronda Stone; I am the Disability Resources Coordinator at USI. I previously held the same position at UE for 6 years. Prior to that I had a long and varied work history with one common thread and that is that I have always in some way worked with new and emerging technologies. I have a teaching license in Elementary and special education with a computer endorsement, but have spent very little time in an actual classroom.
In the area of special education and in disability services the topics of assistive technology and universal design for instruction (and for learning) are constantly evolving. I hope that I will be able to explore some of the new trends in these areas through the projects we will do in this class.
