Introduction

My name is Sarah Mallow and I currently teach 6th grade math at Vogel Elementary School here in Evansville.  This is my 3rd year at Vogel and my 5th year teaching.  I have a Promethean board, document camera, and desktop computer in my classroom for teaching purposes.  All of my 6th grade students have netbooks that we utilize daily.  Although at times it is somewhat challenging to incorporate "computer based projects" into the math curriculum, with the help of our E-Learning coach, I attempt to find and use project based websites and engage the students through technology whenever possible. I am looking forward to this class to hopefully enhance my knowledge in the tech world and to apply this knowledge to my own teaching!
